EASY MOLO SOUP


Ingredients:

1/4 kg MAGNOLIA CHICKEN STATION SHANGHAI MIX
30 pcs molo wrappers
1 pc MAGNOLIA BROWN EGG, beaten mixed with 2 tbsp MAGNOLIA ALL PURPOSE FLOUR

Soup:

1/4 cup minced garlic
1/4 cup cooking oil
1/4 cup dried hibi
2 liter chicken stock
iodized fine salt and pepper to taste

Topping:

fried garlic
chopped fresh kuchay
freshly cracked peppercorns

Procedure:

  1. Place every 1/2 shanghai mix in the center of every wrapper. Gather the corners of the wrapper together and twist. Seal with the egg and flour mixture.
  2. Sauté garlic in oil. Add hibe. Pour in stock and allow to boil. Season to taste.
  3. When soup is just about to be served, drop in molo balls to boiling broth mixture then turn the heat off.
  4. Place in 6 bowls and top with fried kutchay leaves, fried garlic and pepper.
Makes 6 servings.
